This multi-family home suffered a fire in 2006 on the top floor where a 3 year old boy named Austin and his Mother and Grandmother had lived. There have been speculations that Austin lit a match or someone left a candle burning in Austin's room. There wasn't much damage to the property but Austin, died on the way to the hospital from smoke inhalation.

Now the tenants of the apartment right below the one on the top floor have some strange things happening...
Austin's bedroom is right above their bedroom. Late at night when they are laying in bed they can hear what sounds like a young child running out of the room upstairs and dropping a ball and then it bounces a few times then goes silent. Their cat runs across the house like someone is chasing her. The wick on their candles grow inside the wax so they can't be re lit. When someone leaves the room when candles are going sometimes they are blown out mysteriously...

The tenants don't mind that Austin might be their ghost. They just want to know if he's trying to communicate a message and if he needs help in any way.

Investigation

This strange indent is on both doors of the upstairs apartment where the fire happened. It's exactly where a person would put their thumb when trying to open the door. Did Austin do this? Or is there another explanation?

We started off the night doing an evp session in Austin's room. In the kitchen on the counter we placed magnetic letters that would normally be placed on a refrigerator. We spelled out "Hi Austin are you here?" In hopes of a response from him. We didn't get one but we will try again.

He loved playing with the dowsing rods and that was our best form of communication for the night. We lit some candles and could visibly see that he was trying to snuff one out without success. We asked him if he wanted help passing on and he said no, he liked the thought of being a little boy forever.

Evidence

The use of headphones is strongly recommended to hear these properly.

EVP #1 : The investigator asks- Can you read what is says in the kitchen? Then we hear "No" in a little boy's voice. Click here to listen.

EVP #2 : We hear in a whisper- "This is a little boy." Click here to listen.
