The Watson House was built in 1788 by Lt. Thomas Hayden, the mansion showcased the new Palladian style, with it's clean lines, and four nearly identical faces. It is a 3 story, 6,800 square foot home, the most ambitious domestic commision of Hayden's career, was among the first such mansions to be built in the district, and is the only remaining one of its kind standing in the Connecticut River Valley.
This was our first visit to the Watson House. There were several things reported by guests that made us believe that it was haunted. So we came to investigate.
*There is nothing paranormal in any of these pictures.

This Video was taken in the attic, as you can see in the video, none of us moved that box but yet a tube moves on it's own. We kicked the box to see if that would create the same thing we caught on tape... it didn't.
We also captured several EVP's.
EVP 1- investigator Jason asks a question, a few second later he gets a response... The response has been amplified a little other then that it was a very clear evp.
Evp 2- This is more of a Class C we captured what sounded like someone whispering back and forth
This isn't really an EVP but its a good sound file, while we were doing an EVP session one of our boxes of equipment was standing next to the couch the sound you hear is the box hitting the couch.. The box was standing upright it hit the couch and when we put a flashlight on it and looked it was back to standing upright. The sound happens at about 15 seconds.
EVP 1
Here is a list of what the guests have claimed they have witnessed at the Watson House:
Lincoln Room: Weird Knocking.
Grant Room: Items Move. Children say "Shh...baby sleeping." when pointing to the bed.
Roosevelt Room: A long term guest reported hearing footsteps overhead each night.
Adams Suite: Alarm clock on radio will go on by itself and play classical music. A sick guest heard a young girl's voice ask her if she was okay.
Main hall 2nd Floor: Footsteps heard.
Jefferson Suite: Floorboards creek like someone is walking, one guest reported seeing a woman.
